Doesn't seem possible that it was 20 years ago that Bob Elliot at WCSH in Portland did a story on Christmas music and launched THE MAINE CHRISTMAS SONG. It so perfectly captured the spirit of Maine at Christmas that it became a treasured addition to holiday celebrations across the state and far beyond its borders.

One performed by the internationally acclaimed Windham Chamber Singers and the other IN FRENCH by 12 year old singing sensation from Fort Kent, Melanie Dorice Saucier.
