The Wicked Good Band email list

Remember when social networking just involved a six pack and a double feature at the Lewiston DriveIn?  Yes, well even the Wicked Good Band has finally come skidding sideways into the wondrous land of online adventure with a FaceBook page.      Click here to go there.    Not only does the page have lots of photos and snappy comments, but it's the place to find the schedule of upcoming gigs for the band.

Did you miss the national broadcast of Michael Feldman's  Whad'Ya Know radio show from  Merrill Auditorium in Portland on August 2?  It was a FinestKind event with The Wicked Good Band, Tim Sample, genuine moose calling and much more.  Listen to the show here from the archives of Wisconsin Public Radio.  Small pieces or the whole two hours.  Guess it depends on just how much Mainespeak you want to hear.

Genuine Maine Icons.   The WICKED GOOD BAND has achieved cult status in Maine and are the acknowledged masters of Maine musical satire.

The band has been performing in front of Maine audiences since its members were in a high school jug band at Deering High in Portland.  They've played at concerts, festivals, and events all over Maine, and in such foreign lands as New Hampshire and Washington, DC. They have appeared on national TV and local cable access. Their bestseller book is often found at yard sales and in rustic bathrooms.

By choice or chance, their concert schedule has been limited to a few select fairs and festivals each year.  But we've pestered, pleaded, and prodded them into making their CD's available here. So unless you think you'll be at the Black Fly Festival anytime soon, you'd best place your order here.
